CXCANISTER
Convert and upgrade your existing Dust Collector 1 micron canister replacement filter and bag to help keep even more of that fine particulate saw dust out the air and out of your lungs. Not only will your lungs thank you but your dust collector will function even more efficiently. This canister features a V-Weave filter design effectively increasing the filtering area by over 6 times when compared to standard cloth bags. With the Canister, simply turn the handle located at the top of the canister to rotate the internal flapper. The flapper removes dust particles and shakes of caked on dust into the lower bag of your dust collector. Dust disposal is now safer and no longer a chore with this 1 micron canister. Fits all makes and models of dust collectors with a 19 5/8" diameter.

1 micron filter
I've been contemplating one of these filters for a long time now. Since installing it, I'm kicking myself for not buying it sooner. The increase in surface area over the old 1 micron bag is clearly huge, as the increase in suction is very noticeable. Being able to clean it super easily will help ensure it maintains that good suction too!

Was a very snug fit. But with some soap for lube managed to install.

Disappointing quality but functional
The filter itself works as prescribed, providing good throughput for airflow and a noticeable improvement in my shop air quality. But... The strap that was included was far lighter gauge than the strap that held the original filter bag. It was also defective because the rivets that hold the locking catch were not properly compressed. The catch flew off the strap when I tried to close it. I ended up gerry-rigging the strap from the filter bag to replace the sub-standard strap that came with the new pleated filter. Very disappointing.

This is an excellent product and it has improved dust collection in my shop, static pressure has improved in the intake duct. The only problem I had was fitting the canister to my Delta Collector. It was a lot of work to the bottom rubber over the Delta rim, but with a lot of lubricant and expletives it finally went on. Tight fit but worth the effort for the results. Good product, price was right and the results - priceless!

My 2hp vacuum system came equipped with a cloth filter. Frankly, it recovered a great deal of dust but dust still spread throughout my shop. The Craftex 1 Micron Filter is amazing. Virtually, 99% of all the dust is trapped creating an almost dust free shop. I would like to mention that the filter took a bit of effort to install as the rubber seal fits very snuggly. With a bit of effort it should be no problem to install if the diameter of your system falls within the published parameters. I highly recommend this product.
